Adventures & Outings, also affectionately known as "Outdoor Recreation," continues to offer participants opportunities that are thought to be missed by many disabled individuals. The inaccessible doors to Nature open wide, giving us a glimpse of the wilds of whale watching, observing elephant seals compete for a mate, and entering a sweat lodge of the Ohlone Natives.

All of these experiences are Gifts of a lifetime! Spreading the word about the amazing programs under BORP Adaptive Sports & Recreation wing is a privilege. Aside from Adventures & Outings, BORP provides disabled youth and adults the opportunity to maintain a competitive edge though Wheelchair Basketball, Power Soccer, Goalball, Sled Hockey, and Adaptive Cycling. The significance of the existence of these Programs cannot be over emphasized. Furthermore, the social bonds created within BORP lifts participant's spirits into the realm of possibilities for productive lives while tearing down the many stereotypes of disability. Hopefully, you will be inspired to contribute to the longevity of this incredible Program. Any amount you can spare will be well spent.
