What is the Revolution Ride?

An image of two adaptive cyclists smiling at the camera

The Revolution Ride is BORP’s signature fundraising event, bringing together hundreds of cycling enthusiasts and BORP supporters for a day of celebration, challenge, and impact. The Revolution isn’t just a bike rideit’s a day of adventure and camaraderie where you can experience BORP's mission in action. Last year nearly half of our participants were riders with disabilities.

See below for Routes, Festival Info, and Event Schedule, and Transportation Options. We've got something for everyone.

Can't make it? Check out Rev from Anywhere! Make your morning bike commute, mountain bike trek, at-home workout, or a ride with friends your own Revolution Ride. Folks who choose this option can start or join a team and fundraise like everyone else and you'll be invited to join a live stream of the award ceremony on 5/17 - and the funds you raise will be matched dollar for dollar (up to a total of $10,000) for all Rev from Anywhere participants.

BORP is the only organization of its kind in the Bay Area, and for many, it’s their only opportunity to enjoy exercise, outdoor adventure, and community. This year, our goal is to raise $225,000 to sustain and grow our programs. Every rider, every mile, and every dollar raised brings us closer to reaching that goal.

A New Chapter for the Revolution Ride!

The Rev has a new home in Mill Valley! This stunning location offers gorgeous, accessible bike routes, and is closer to the majority of our participants and community partners. This year’s ride will begin and end at the beautiful Mill Valley Community Center, located at 180 Camino Alto, Mill Valley, CA 94941 (map).

Four Scenic Route Options

This year’s routes offer something for everyone, including a family-friendly Roll & Stroll along the scenic Mill Valley/Sausalito bike trail and a challenging ride through the breathtaking Marin Headlands (click the image to the right for a video of the view), looping back along the Bay. Whether you prefer to stroll or cruise on a handcycle,— tandem, two-wheeler, or sports chair — there’s a route for you to explore at the Rev! After the ride, we’ll come together to celebrate our achievements with a delicious catered meal, music, beer and wine, and great company.

The Revolution Ride Festival

After an incredible day on the trails, the celebration continues with the post-ride festival, where riders, supporters, and the BORP community come together to relax, connect, and celebrate their collective impact.

The festival will feature gourmet food (menu to the right) to refuel after the ride, fine wine and beer to toast the day’s accomplishments, and live music to keep the energy high. Family-friendly games and activities will provide fun for all ages and there will be massages to soothe aching muscles. Whether you rode, volunteered, or cheered from the sidelines, the festival is an opportunity to connect with the BORP community and enjoy a lively and well-earned celebration.
