When and where is the 2026 BORP Revolution Ride taking place?
What time do I need to be at the venue?
Your arrival time depends on which route you're taking:
7:15 a.m. Check-In opens for all riders
8:00 a.m. 40 Mile, 22 Mile, and 20 Mile riders begin their ride. All riders entered in these events should depart by 9:00am
9:30 a.m. 4 Mile Blackie's Pasture Roll & Stroll, and 5 Mile Sausalito Roll & Stroll participants depart. All riders entered in these events should depart by 10:30am
Is there parking at the event venue?
There is limited parking at the event venue, and carpooling is encouraged. There is a drop-off zone at the entrance to the venue, and overflow parking nearby if needed. Overflow parking will be at Mill Valley Middle School, adjacent to the Mill Valley Community Center. The address for Mill Valley Middle School is 425 Sycamore Ave, Mill Valley, CA 94941, and the parking lot is behind the school, within view of the main Rev festival area.
What route options do I have?

Rev 4-Mile Blackie's Pasture Roll and StrollThis route starts at Blackies Pasture, and traverses out to Tiburon and back on a protected bike path. It offers beautiful views of Richardson Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge.
Rev 5-Mile - Sausalito Roll and Stroll: This out-and-back route is great for walking, strolling, and rolling. This accessible route is fully paved and is protected from vehicle traffic as it stays off of the open road.
Rev 20-Mile - Paradise Loop: This is a beautiful ride along the ocean with amazing views of the San Francisco Bay. Don't be fooled, there are a good amount of hills. Please use caution when descending.
Rev 22-Mile - Hawk Hill: This route has great views of the Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. Lots of climbing! There are some very steep descents. Use extreme caution!
Rev 40-Mile - Hawk Hill and Paradise Loop Combined: This is a challenging cycling route with great views of the Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge, and lots of climbing! There are some very steep descents. Use extreme caution!
Do I have to fundraise in order to participate in the Rev?
Yes, we ask that all participants fundraise. The Rev is BORP’s main fundraiser of the year, and participants in the event commit to fundraising. Funds raised support the full menu of programs that BORP offers. Fundraising minimums: Adults: $400; Youth: $150; Ride From Anywhere: $150

Does BORP provide transportation to the Revolution Ride?
The BORP bus will be available to transport Rev participants to the event but space is limited! The BORP bus departs early on the event day, departing from the Ed Roberts Campus in Berkeley. To reserve your place on the BORP bus, contact
transporation@borp.org. Be sure to reserve your seat as early as possible.
How can I take paratransit to the Rev?
BART does not extend to Marin County so using paratransit will require pre-planning. To get to the Recreation Center in Mill Valley from BART you will need to take Marin Paratransit from the Safeway at Del Norte BART.
A. First, make sure you are certified for paratransit in the county you currently live.
B. Contact your county paratransit provider well before the Rev date and have them send their "Notification of Eligibility" to
Marin Paratransit.
C. Contact Marin Paratransit to confirm they have received your certification ("Notice of Eligibility"). You should also receive a Welcome Packet that will include an unpublished reservation line.

Are there volunteer opportunities?
The Rev is powered by a fabulous team of volunteers, and BORP would be thrilled to have you as a part of the volunteer team. The

Are there sponsorship opportunities?

Can I make a donation to a team?
Yes. You can make a donation to a participant on a team or you can make a general team donation.

Can I mail in a cash donation?
We’d much prefer it if you deposit the cash into your checking account and send a personal check from your account.

Please make sure that in the memo it says Rev and if you are sponsoring a rider or virtual participant, be sure to include their name so we can credit the donation to their ride!
What can I do if a check is written to me personally?
If a donation check has been written out to you personally, you may endorse the back of the check and mail it to BORP, 3075 Adeline Street, Suite 200, Berkeley, CA 94703.
How do I find someone’s personal or team fundraising page?

How do I make an online donation? How do I donate to a person or team?
Click the “
donate” button here.
You may donate to a “Participant”, “Team”, or make a “General” donation to the event.
If you click “Participant”: a search bar will open for you to type their name. Your donation will be credited to their fundraising goals. If you click “Team”: search bar will open for you to type the Team name. Your donation will be credited to their fundraising goals. General donations are donations to the event, not credited to the fundraising goals of a particular person or team.
How do I email people about donating to my ride?
To send outreach emails:
- Log in to your Rev account
- Click CONTACT BOOK in your dashboard menu. Here you can Import names and emails from any of the major email service providers or manually add people to your Contact Book.
Once you have contacts:
- Click "EMAIL" in the dashboard menu (below your profile photo)
- Click “Compose” to start a new email or “New Template” to create a custom email template.
- You will see a header that says "Select your template" with a drop-down menu of a list of templates to choose from (including any New Templates you create). You can also compose your own from scratch.
- Choose your Audience, click Add Recipients, select people from the Contact Book, and then send!
How can I email my donors to thank them?
1) Log in to your fundraising dashboard and click "Report" in the dashboard options (below your profile photo).
2) Locate the donor/donation you'd like to thank, and click "Send Email" (If the donor didn't submit their email address, this option is unavailable.)
3) Type the message in the pop-up window, and click "Send Email"
Why aren't all of my donors showing up in my fundraising portal?
As your donors make a contribution, they have the option of whether or not they want to be publicly recognized.
Where can I find a list of people who have donated to my campaign?
Log in with your email and password to visit your headquarters page. Select ‘My Fundraising Report on the left side. You will then find a list of all of your donors as well as a list of all donors to your team .
Why am I receiving emails telling me that I've received a donation?
We like keeping you updated on the success of your fundraising efforts! If you wish to stop receiving these updates, please login to your headquarters and edit your account preferences.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes! All monetary donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

How do I add a dedication when I make a donation?
When you make a donation online, you can designate what you want to appear as your recognition name on the participant's Honor Roll. This may be your name, or it could be something such as "From the whole Wolf family" or "in memory of Aunt Cathy."
Can I register myself and my family at the same time?
Yes! You can either: 1) add someone to your account (e.g., a young child), or 2) register another user with their own account.
For both options, you will need to create or join a team while registering. When you see the option near the bottom of the page, if you don't already have a team, click Create a Team, fill in the form and then click next. On the next screen, click the big "Register another member" button.
At the top of the registeration form you will see the 2 options:
#1 Add a user to my account, which will add a second person in your registration. This is good if you are fundraising as a unit, such as a parent with a young child.
#2 Register a user with their own account, which will create another full registration for another rider. You must have that person's email address to set up their user account.
Fill out the rest of the registration and repeat as necessary. Note: people who are added to the event this way will need to sign their own waiver at the event.
