Hi Friends-
I'm participating in the Revolution Ride on May 17 on my trike to raise money for adaptive sports in the Bay Area for folks with varying disabilities. Donate a cup of coffee and a pastry (or many!) to make my ride successful.
I first learned of BORP in 2022. I would go every week to Berkeley to ride a recumbent tricycle. I found it so satisfying that I had to get my own. Now I ride around my neighborhood and go food shopping with it. When I feel more adventurous I load it in my car, call my friend Tony, and we go to longer bike trails in the Bay Area. It has changed my life.
Without BORP none of this would have happened. Not only does BORP support cycling, it sponsors other adaptive sports such as wheelchair basketball, climbing in a rock gym, and adaptive pickleball, to name a few. It has expanded its cycling program to Golden Gate Park in SF during the summer, where I volunteer. I'm really happy to be giving back to BORP's programs. Every dollar I raise will support BORP's many adaptive sports and recreation programs. Learn more about BORP here: BORP.org
Thanks so much.
