Aloha Friends and Family / Colleagues,

On Sunday, May 3rd, I’ll be riding 20 miles through Mill Valley as part of BORP’s Revolution Ride, the biggest annual fundraiser for BORP Adaptive Sports & Recreation. This will be my third time riding, and I’m excited to support an organization that has become a huge part of my life.

I first connected with BORP more than ten years ago, but it wasn’t until three years ago that I reached out about their adult wheelchair basketball program. Since then, I’ve played with the BORP Allstars rec team and the D3 Bay Area Ballerz, competing across California and beyond. For the last three years, I’ve also served on BORP’s Board of Directors, helping advance their mission to improve the health, independence, and social connection of people with physical disabilities and visual impairments.

BORP has given me a community of people who understand the lived experience of disability—people who push themselves, take risks, and show what’s possible when we have access to inclusive programs. I’m proud to ride for them again this year.

I’ve set a fundraising goal of $1,000, and every dollar directly supports BORP’s adaptive sports, fitness, and recreation programs. If you’re able, please consider donating or sharing my page to help me reach—and hopefully surpass—my goal.

If you’d like to get involved beyond donating, BORP is also looking for volunteers. The Revolution Ride depends on an amazing volunteer crew—whether helping on the course or supporting the festival. Volunteers get a free t shirt, lunch, drinks, and the satisfaction of making a real impact.

And if you have a bike and want to join me, I’ll be riding the 20 mile Paradise Loop—it’s a beautiful route with food and drinks afterward.
Mahalo Nui Loa (Thank You Very Much) for your support, generosity, and encouragement.
