Hello my family and friends,
Many of you know that I have neurological issues with my right and left leg. I had to give up using my various bicycles including my electric bike as I could not lift my leg high enough to mount the bike or get off safely. Noah, my youngest son, took on the challenge of building a cycle for me and created a recumbent bicycle that met my needs. I use this creatively designed bike on a regular basis, and it has been life changing.
Noah works for a wonderful non-profit in the Bay Area called BORP Adaptive Sports & Recreation. Their mission is to empower youth and adults with mobility and vision disabilities through sports, fitness, and recreational programs that foster independence, health, community, and belonging. Their goal is to be a leading force in the region in providing and sustaining these innovative community-led adaptive athletics, fitness, and recreation programs that transform lives. I am so proud of Noah that he works for an organization that improves lives, just like mine.
My wife Laurie and I are asking you to join us in contributing to this truly life affirming non-profit that touches so many individuals and their families. Please help us meet and then surpass our goal of $3,000.
You can donate directly on my fundraising page here: borp.rallybound.org/ArthurGrossSchaefer
Thanks so much,
Arthur and Laurie Gross Schaefer
